Christmas Ornament

I've made this ornament the glass etching technique.  I've spelled out HSBC using the Cricut's George and Basic's cartridge.  I've then added a shrinky dink to dangle as a charm.  Inside the ornament is just some glass beads, glitter, and a few plastic snowflakes.  I had made tons of these last year personalizing each person's name with their initial.  I also included a picture of them and dangled it inside the ornament.  These would be great gifts for teachers and co-workers.

A sexy masculine card that will make any man smile on their birthday.  This digital stamp is from Kenny K Downloads.  This dominatrix is Miss Fortune.  She's hard, edgy and seductive. There are many other images like this to choose from, so check it out.

Sock Monkey

Here's a cute little digital sock monkey stamp from Whimsy Stamps.  It's not the traditional looking sock monekey, but it still brings a smile to my face.  I used Basic Grey's Max and Whiskers paper collection to add to the grungy feel to the card.

Celebrate

A masculine card for any occasion:  birthday, new job, new car, you name it.  This stamp is at least over 12 years old so I am not sure the make of it.  I colored the card using some copics.  I didn't do too much shading and blending here.

Furry Friend

Here's a pet friendly album that is made for a dog or a cat.  I had used Basic's Grey Max and Whiskers 6x6 paper pad. All stamps were used from the same collection as well.  This album has a lot of textures, earth tones, and embellishments. The title was a download free font called 4Dog. Anything altered with ink was used with studio paint, glimmer mist, moon shadow mist, rock candy paint, embossing powder, chalk ink, and ranger ink. Take a look and see:

Thinking of You Always

Here it is again, another on of Ching-Chou Kuik's stamps Poppy Love from Sweet Pea Stamps.  I used some Yasutomo water colors to paint the image. The palette comes in 16 different colors with a hint of shimmer to it. Her flesh is a light gold tone, but it's really hard to see in these images.  I used black mesh to create a coral feel to it.

You're the Best, Girlfriend!

Here's another card from Kenny K's digi stamps, Trouble Maker.  She looks sweet and seductive with her melted ice cream.  This card is fun and flirty, great for a girlfriend who is always there for you.  You have to check out Kenny K's new September Critterz digi's.  They are adorable with a lot of spunk.

Warm Wishes

This little fishy was purchase from Paper Source a few years ago.  I think this stamp has been discontinued already. I had gotten this card inspiration sketch from a Youtube video I have seen from a Stampin' Up Demonstrator.  I've embossed the image and created a lot of texture with the ribbon and brads.  I liked working with this combo color, burnt orange and light blue.

Discover

You can never say you didn't try if you don't take flight and discover your dreams.  I used Hero Arts, Antique Engravings clear stamps.  I've embossed and colored the images with copics.  This card is great for a student who is off to college or for someone who is venturing out in a new career path.

Heartfelt Wishes

This digi stamp came from Tiddly Ink's Gothic Cute collection, Happy Couple.  I made this card into a gate fold.  There's a lot of layers and dimension here.  I love this grungy distress feel to this stamp.  I've added some glimmer to the flowers, but they are hard to see.

Just For You

I participated in a run called Scavenger Dash in San Francisco during the summer.  My hubby and I had to run all over the city solving 12 clues about the city.  Clues went from, take a photo of you wearing a Kimono to getting a tarot reading from the fortune teller machine over at Fisherman's Wharf.  There were only 2 rules to this race:  you can't take a cab to your clue destinations and everything must be solved within 5 hours.  Well as we were headed to our first clue, I had came across a store that sells all kinds of random things.  And look what I found, a Lion Head Stamp!  My brother is in love with these things and I thought that it would be perfect for any Chinese occasion.  Obviously I didn't win the race, but I did find some great things in the city.  I checked out some cool structures and had a glass of beer with some oysters.  It was a great day.

A Warm Hello

I have been really into some awesome digi stamps.  I just love how you can change the size of each image.  I got this image from Kenny K Downloads, Queen's Cutie stamp.  She's such the girls next door type.  Kenny K is a great artist.  His images are very trendy and unique.  She reminds me of a Bratz doll, but not as stuck up :)

Enchanting

In a Sweet Pea Dream challenge blog is having their very first blog challenge!!!  I'm so excited because I just love to create with their stamps.  The challenge is to create a "Show Us Your Dream" interpretation of a card.  The skies the limit with this one.  Here's Ching-chou Kuik's Enchanting Gold rubber stamp. All their stamps are unmounted.  They provide really good customer service with fast shipping.  Each of my images that I have stamped are always crisp and clean.

You're the Best!

I was able to snatch this cute robot paper by Recollections at Michael's. They were having their sale, 5 for $1. This paper would go well with Cricut's Robot's cartridge, which just came out not too long ago.

The Burtonesque Challenge #17: Willy Wonka

Here's the details to the Burtonesque Dolls HERE challenge: create a new candy box, candy bag, chocolate bar, any fun and funky new candy you would find in Willy Wonka's factory.  The possibilities are endless.  All entries must be due by Sept. 13th.  There are some pretty neat creations over on their blog already.  It's a must go see!

I had fun with this challenge.  I used Simply Betty's HERE digi stamp, Lola to create my Willy Wonka card. I had cut Lola out with my scallop nestabilities die. I found this Bo Bunny plastic dome case at my local scrapbook store.

Happy Numbers

Here's a card for any age! It's a pretty busy card, yet still simple and fun.  The flower was inked with Lindy's Stamp Gang's moon shadow mist HERE.  All their products have such a cool effect.  The moon shadow mist comes in all sorts of colors with a hint of brown tones to it.

Flutter by Wednesday #120, Happy Birthday

I came across Flutter by Wednesday's blog HERE and Danni is having one of the most awesome give aways for her birthday.  I wish I have the same talent as a lot of the crafters out there. I'm still learning, but I wish I had that artistic back ground. Anyways...  all you have to do is create a birthday card for Danni using Mercy's sketch below. The rules are to include an image with a butterfly, or fairy or an angel.  It's that simple! I used Ching-chou Kuik's stamp, Dark Royal for my FBW #120 sketch.  I'm really lovin' these stamps.

Thank You Sweet Pea Stamps!!!

A while back I had bought some stamps from Sweet Peas HERE. They were doing a shopping spree give away, and guess what?  I WON!!!!  I received a $50 gift voucher for anything on their site.  I was so excited and beaming with delight.  I even clapped my hands, and was screaming a little.  My hubby thought that I found a job ☹.  It felt good to win something when you least expect it.  It was a good pick me up, since I've been looking for a job now for 3 months.  Anyhow, I want to thank Sweet Pea for this shopping spree, and for also providing the world with such amazing stamps.

Thinking of You

This adorable little turtle was made using Cricut's, A Walk in My Garden Cartridge.  I wish I had the opportunity to use my Cricut Expression more, but my space is so limited.  It sucks to take everything out and then put it back again.  I've never really been into their cartridges, but I do have to admit that they came out with some really good ones in the last six months.  I still have to get my hands on the software, Sure Cuts A lot.  It's seems more versatile to use than the Cricut's Design Studio.

Dance of Butterfly

I got this stamp from Sweet Peas HERE. This mermaid is from Ching-chou Kuik's Fantasy Art Collection.  Her artwork is extremly detailed, and they have a dreamy like feel to them.  Check out their blog for other great creations HERE. They are having some kind of special with their stamps, so it's worth checking out.

Haunted Eerie Album

Halloween feels like it's just around the corner.  About a month ago I had made this, so that I can have an excuse to buy more Halloween paper. I used Basic Grey's, Making Memories, and Martha Stewart's collection from last year. I just recently got my hands on the Graphic 45's, Halloween in Wonderland paper pad. I can't wait to use it ☺.  I still need to do a cover, but here's what I got so far...

The bird image is used to show that you can slip your photos here.
Behind the skull is a Little Yellow Bicycle transparency.
All stamp products are from Inkadinkado and Tim Holtz.  When I add my photos, I will include more embellishments.
